Solid and durable piece of gear. Mine is about a decade old, and still going strong! Pairs perfectly with Equinox’s bivy for a versatile, lightweight shelter system.

This was not as advertised, it was 3oz lighter, haha. I’m 6′ (2m) tall and it fits over my 65 liter pack perfectly. I love how smooth the material is and how fast it sheds water. The olive green is good for not being seen in a forest. The extension is not a separate piece, the back is longer and folds up to Velcro tabs. This makes it shorter for use without a pack like the lady in the picture. I don’t intend to sleep under it since it’s narrow but might use it for shade or take a nap under at some point. I’m going to seam seal the stitches to re-enforce them. The only thing I wasn’t completely satisfied with is the thick & stiff elastic cord for the hood and it’s chunky line lock. I replaced it with extras I had from other projects. I’ve tested this is some serious early winter rain and it performed well. The stuff sack is great too. I’ll be sure to buy more from this brand.

Roomy, extremely lightweight, folds up small. Comes with a mesh pouch. Sheds rain like a champ. Love mine. Love made in USA.

Super handy Poncho/Shelter, love mine it never leaves my pack. So many uses, and when combined with the Equinox Bivy they’re great for ounce counter backpackers, survival combo etc..
Block the wind/sun/rain, cook under it.
Most Poncho/Shelters like this cost $150, this Equinox is a BARGAIN.
