Constructed from waterproof 1.1oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon. Key seams are double stitched for strength. (We recommend seam sealing center seams with a silicone-based seam sealer — especially where grosgrain ties are attached).
- 10 reinforced black oxidized black grommets, one in each corner and remaining six spread evenly around perimeter
- Three 12″ cotton twill ties down center seam provide multiple configuration options
- Packaged in reusable mesh bag with micro cord drawstring and cord lock

I have several years on my Equinox silnylon tarp and it is my 3 1/2 season go to shelter. My last outing was in the Glacier Peak Wilderness in early October. We ran into evil weather. Freezing rain, temps in the low 30’s, and then good old gully washers of rain. 5 inches of it in 2 days!. My partner had a 500 dollar shelter of DCF and had more trouble with rain and wind that I did with my 8 x 10 greenie! I have used this in many configurations and for up to 4 people. I couldn’t be more happy with a tarp! My only addition is that I sewed in some netting to slow down the bugs. I have worn out two tyvek ground sheets and no leaks in the tarp so far. 100 plus nights and counting!
