The Parula features an attached hood top with a zippered pocket, 2 mesh side pockets large enough to accommodate water bottles, waist belt, and padded shoulder straps. Perfect pack for day hikes, great for lightweight travel. Top drawstring opening under the hood to the large open compartment.  Made in the USA.

UltraLite:Â 1.1oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon with mesh back panel, weighs 7.4oz
Ripstop:Â 1.9oz urethane coated ripstop, same fabric on back (no mesh back panel), weighs 9.6oz

Super lightweight and handy bag, a little small but hardly noticeable. My only real complaint is that it didn’t come with a sternum strap, but it’s so light that it hardly needs one. Looking forward to getting more products from these guys and supporting a local PA business.
